Erling Haaland has well and truly served the Premier League notice.

The Manchester City striker has taken a matter of weeks to turn the English top-flight his playground, netting a third consecutive hat-trick at home during the derby day clash with Manchester United.

The striker looks simply unstoppable as he continues to plunder goals for fun and drive himself towards what could be an unprecedented season.

Pep Guardiola and City’s fans will be hoping that Haaland is the final piece of the puzzle as they look to end their European hoodoo.

So as one of the hottest property in the game right now, you would think that brands and labels would be falling over themselves in a bid to get Haaland on board with their products.

Erling Haaland’s lack of boot deal

It almost beggars belief then that Haaland, the man on the lips of every football fan around, does not boast a lucrative boot deal.

The likes of Adidas, Puma and Nike are known to pay through the nose to have the most recognisable names in the game wear their gear but none have signed Haaland yet.

What that does mean, though, is that at some point in the near future – if the current biggest deals are anything to by – Haaland could be in for a very big pay day indeed.

3. Cristiano Ronaldo, £15m, Nike

Such is Ronaldo’s monstrous brand and market influence, Nike were willing to cough up for an unprecedented lifetime deal reportedly worth £780m.

That means that the Argentine will still be money off his boots even after he’s hung them up.
