It was only a matter of time for Erling Haaland to become Norway’s all-time leading international scorer.
The Manchester City striker has demonstrated week in and week out at club level that he is one of the most talented strikers ever to play the game. He’s now turned that statement true on the international stage as well.
The star striker was at his scintillating best against Slovenia, firing home a side-footed strike into the bottom corner, and making history in the process.
It means he now has 34 goals for Norway, breaking Jørgen Juve’s record of 33 from 90 years ago in 1934.
One Cristiano Ronaldo still holds the men’s all-time international scoring record, but who says Haaland won’t break that, too?
