Chelsea faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to earn all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 34th minute when Cole Palmer found the back of the net. Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Christopher Nkunku doubled Chelsea’s advantage in the 64th minute. However, Reece James was sent off by the referee in the 88th minute before Danny Welbeck got his name on the scoresheet in injury time. The contest ended with the Blues securing an impressive 2-1 win away from home.
