Gustavo Henrique to reunite with Jorge Jesus at Fenerbahçe

On Monday, Gustavo Henrique reportedly signed his contract termination with Flamengo and will soon leave the club.

After Willian Arão left for Fenerbahçe, Jorge Jesus’ team, it was the defender’s turn to settle with the Turkish club. Now, the defender will undergo medical examinations.

According to journalist Venê Casagrande, the agreement signed between Flamengo and Fenerbahçe will ensure that Mais Querido will receive around €2.8m (just over R$15m at the current price) in two installments for the sale of Gustavo Henrique.

This deal came after the Turkish outfit originally submitted a bid of €2.5m for the player.

The agreement represents a huge profit for the Rubro-Negro, as they originally purchased the player back in 2020 for just R$2.1m.
