Guilian Preud’homme appointed as CEO Club NXT and Club YLA, Koen Persoons becomes Head of Football Club NXT | OneFootball

Guilian Preud’homme has been appointed CEO of Club NXT and Club YLA in order to set some new steps towards the further professionalization of both teams. Furthermore, Koen Persoons has been appointed Head of Football of Club NXT.

Guilian Preud’homme becomes CEO of Club NXT (U23) and Club YLA (women football team) as from July 4th onwards. Preud’homme (29) studied Civil Engineering at the universities of Amsterdam, Luzern and London. He worked in strategic positions at Brussels Airport for more than five years.

Koen Persoons (38) becomes Head of Football of Club NXT. The former midfielder of KV Mechelen and KSC Lokeren played more than 300 matches in the Belgian first division and therefore brings a lot of football knowledge to the club. This year, the two-time cup winner hung up his boots and is now starting a new challenge at Club NXT.

The appointment of a separate CEO for NXT and YLA and a new Head of Football for NXT are the next steps towards 1B, the further professionalization of the Youth Academy and given the increasing importance of women soccer for the blue and black.
