NASSAU, The Bahamas — Guatemala advanced to the 2025 Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship Final, earning a 3-2 win against The Bahamas on Saturday at the Malcolm Park Beach Soccer Facility in Nassau, The Bahamas.

Guatemala qualified for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup as one of the two finalists. The victory marks a historic occasion, as Guatemala will make its first World Cup appearance later this year.

Miguel González opened the scoring in the 10’ 1P to place Guatemala in the lead. Pablo Crocker originated the chance by striking from distance, prompting a stop from Michael Butler before González pounced on the rebound.

Edwin López extended the lead for Los Chapines in the 2’ 1P with a strike from his own half to pounce on a loose ball.

Wood Julmis pulled one back for The Bahamas in the 11’ 2P to begin the comeback effort from a direct free-kick.

Brandon Adderley struck a bicycle kick with 20 seconds left in the second period to equalize for the hosts and set up a winner-take-all situation in the closing stretch.

Pablo Crocker broke the deadlock in the 5’ 3P, striking a right-footed hit off the volley for the match-winner.

Guatemala will face El Salvador on Sunday in the Concacaf Beach Soccer Championship final. Before the championship game, The Bahamas will meet the United States in the third-place match.
