Pep Guardiola has addressed the media ahead of the Manchester derby this weekend and you can catch up with what he had to say here.
â(On Laporte) Heâs training really well, he trained alone when people were with the national teams.
â(On Stones) He will be back then heâs ready.
âIt wonât be 4-6 weeks, it might be less. I donât know when he will be back but two weeks hopefully.â
âI always expect the best, they have it for many years, they come with a resolve.
âTop side, played well against Southampton, Liverpool and Arsenal at home. The momentum is there.â
âSome players more than others but everyone will be involved.
âSince I am a manager Iâve been like that 11, 12 years ago, every three days a game. No surprise. Adapt, adjust, recover well with ice in the legs. Train specific what you need to improve.â
âHe played really well, we cannot deny. He has all the skills we need. Professionally, an intelligent person.
âAnother option that we have and itâs a long long season.â
âHe feels good, the surgery was good. He is getting better the mobility.
âHe took the right decision, otherwise he couldnât move forward. Every training session or two three times he was out.
âHopefully he can be back in time to go to the World Cup and after be back with us.â
âWeâre proud of what weâve given to them (the fans).
âThey produce a lot since we are together. Go to the stadium and itâs important we feel the pressure of them.
âDemand the best of ourselves. We need it, I want them to be active. Itâs not just a football game. Demand the best of ourselves.â
