Pep Guardiola admits his side have a weakness at defending set-pieces after his side dropped more points with a 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace.
Daniel Munoz fired Palace in front early on before Erling Haaland equalised for City, but Maxene Lacroix headed the home side back in front from a corner in the second half.
Rico Lewis salvaged a point for City before the defender saw red with six minutes to go for a second bookable offence.
But Guardiola remained positive despite a concern about his team’s vulnerability from set pieces.
“Football is a game of mistakes,” he said.
“We made a fantastic two goals and of course in the set pieces right now they are stronger than us, every single team, so we try to concede few and that is what we are doing.
“To come back in this stadium is not easy, we tried, and I’m really pleased for many things I saw.
“I’m incredibly proud of the players, how they fought and came back twice. Always Selhurst Park is difficult and the weather conditions for both sides (were difficult), not just for us.
“We fought as always and we take the point.”
