Growing optimism for Guedes-Roma deal | OneFootball

Gonçalo Guedes is edging closer to Roma as the month of June winds to an end with growing optimism surrounding the player’s transfer to the Italian capital.

According to Spanish outlet La Provincia, there is confidence among members of the player’s entourage that an agreement between Roma and Valencia will be reached soon.

Valencia need to make a significant sale before June 30th and Guedes’ move to Roma could help balance the books.

The Spanish outlet further informs that Roma and Valencia are set to collaborate on two separate deals.

Gonçalo Guedes will first join Roma for a fee between €25-40 million.

Then, the two clubs will finalise the transfer of Roma attacker Carles Pérez to Valencia. The Spanish side may also consider bringing in other counter-parts, with Amadou Diawara and Gonzalo Villar being strong favorites.
