With Wednesday’s visit to Crotone fast approaching, Claudio Ranieri and the coaching staff split the players into groups for training again on Monday, based on their recent playing time.

Those who played at least half of the match against Hellas Verona did recovery work in the gym and on the pitch, while the remainder of the squad followed a warm-up with technical drills and shooting practice.

Albin Ekdal spent part of the session with the main group while Ernesto Torregrossa pushed on with his rehabilitation programme.

The team will reconvene in Bogliasco on Tuesday morning to put the finishing touches on their preparations before flying to Calabria.
