Grimsby Town are top of League Two following the first round of games for the 2025/26 season.
The Mariners defeated Crawley Town 3-0 at home with Jaze Kabia opening the scoring from the spot early on before Cameron McJannett and Evan Khouri both got on the scoresheet.

Of the teams who were promoted from the National League, Oldham Athletic earned a point after drawing 0-0 away to MK Dons while Barnet were defeated 2-0 at home to Fleetwood Town.
