Grimsby land glamour tie with Man Utd in Carabao Cup

The Carabao Cup rolls on, with the first of the Premier League sides stepping into the fray as the second-round draw is confirmed.

The 11 top-flight clubs not involved in Europe this year enter at this stage, linking up with the sides who battled through the first round.

One of the eye-catching fixtures sees Manchester United up against League Two outfit Grimsby, while there are also two all-Premier League showdowns - Wolves at home to West Ham, and Bournemouth hosting Brentford.

Second-round fixtures will take place during the week starting 25 August, with the rest of the Premier League heavyweights set to join the competition in round three.
