Three members of the midfield ranks at La Liga outfit Granada were forced to sit out training on Tuesday.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, who have provided an insight into the latest developments behind the scenes in Andalusia.
Granada are fresh off a rare victory over the weekend, which saw goals on the part of Myrto Uzuni and Lucas Boyé guide the Nazaríes past Alavés.
Next on the agenda will come an altogether more daunting trip to the Basque Country, to take on Champions League-chasing Athletic club.
Amid the early preparations for as much, though, as alluded to above, three members of José Ramón Sandoval’s squad were nowhere to be seen.
As per the aforementioned MD, all of Sergio Ruiz, Óscar Melendo and Martin Hongla sat out group training on Tuesday.
It is currently unclear exactly why, but their respective statuses for Friday’s trip to San Mamés appear to have been thrown somewhat up in the air.
