An update on the wellbeing of Granada star Lucas Boyé has come to the fore online today.

And the news will no doubt come as a blow to all of those hopeful of the frontman marking his return to action in the upcoming round of La Liga fixtures.

Boyé, for his part, was forced to sit out this past weekend, as his side were held to a 1-1 draw by Las Palmas.

This came owing to a calf injury suffered in training.

And the Argentine international is yet to rejoin the rest of his teammates at Granada’s training complex this week.

As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, ‘pessimism’ is therefore growing amongst the Nazaríes’ coaching staff when it comes to Boyé’s availability for Sunday’s daunting trip to Barcelona.

Also set to be absent from Alexander Medina’s squad in Catalunya, meanwhile, are suspended pair Kamil Piatkowski and Gonzalo Villar.
