Manchester City look to kick on from going top of the Premier League after defeating Arsenal on Wednesday night with a trip to Nottingham to play the heavy spending Forest team this Saturday in a first Premier League meeting between the two sides at the City Ground for well over twenty years, and the man in the middle for this big occasion is Graham Scott.
Referee Graham Scott is a rather unfamiliar figure when it comes to Manchester City games, with his last appointment coming way back in August of 2021, when Ferran Torres was still bagging goals in the blue and white of Manchester City - with the blues downing Norwich 5-0 at the Etihad, and Scott controversially disallowing a Torres goal for a rather soft 'foul' earlier in the build up.

Although Graham Scott and Manchester City's paths rarely cross, it can be seen as good news if history does continue, with the Etihad side unbeaten in all nine games under the Oxfordshire official's watch; City winning all but one - a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace in the 19/20 season.
The 55-year-old has actually refereed more games in English football's second tier this season, taking on six Championship games, and refereeing just the four in the Premier League. There have been forty four yellow cards and four red cards dished out by Scott in fifteen games across the top two leagues and the two cup competitions in England this season.
