Everton will look to extend their eight-game unbeaten run in the Premier League when they take on West Ham United at Goodison Park on Saturday.

The Toffees are gradually improving under David Moyes, and they will be looking to pick up all three points this weekend after three draws in a row.

West Ham have also shown signs of resurgence under Graham Potter, who was linked with the Everton job after the club sacked Sean Dyche.

While Potter didn’t want to comment on that matter, he did say that two Everton players have impressed him heavily.

Dyche hardly used Beto and Jake O’Brien during his time, but the pair has excelled under Moyes. Potter says that O’Brien has given the Toffees a “different dimension,” while Beto has been effective in Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s absence.

Potter said ahead of the match: “Beto has come in and has been really effective. Jake O’Brien has also come in and given them a different dimension. They have had some really impressive results and look a good team. So, we have to play well, for sure.”

The 23-year-old barely featured under Dyche, even when Jarrad Branthwaite was out injured. The former Toffees boss preferred Michael Keane ahead of him and used Ashley Young in the right-back role in the absence of Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson.

Moyes has used O’Brien wisely. The former Hammers boss used the Republic of Ireland defender as a right-back where he has been really impressive.

Coleman and Patterson are now fit, and very soon, they will challenge for the starting role. In that case, it will become interesting to see how Moyes handles the situation.

Beto has now started in seven Premier League games and has scored six goals. He has been brilliant under Moyes, and the Toffees’ boss will hope that the 27-year-old gets back to scoring habits soon after failing to score in the past two games.
