Gourna-Douath on his future: “I would like to stay at Roma.” | OneFootball

Midfielder Lucas Gourna-Douath made a surprise appearance in tonight’s showdown against Juventus.

The player, currently on loan from Salzburg, spoke to the media in his post-match presser.

“Playing alongside great champions like Kone, Cristante and Paredes is easy, but also complicated because there is healthy competition and it is difficult to play.”

“I am learning a lot from them. I can’t wait to play my first derby, we’ll see how it goes, but I’m happy to experience this emotion,” he said after featuring in tonight’s packed Stadio Olimpico duel.

“These are the games that every player likes to play. I felt happy to play my first game at the Olimpico and happy to have fought for the team and for the shirt. The manager asked me to be aggressive and that’s what I did.”

“My future? I don’t think it’s the right time to talk about it. Right now I’m a Roma player, I’d like to stay here,” he concluded.
