One manager has come out and said that he is finding it a pleasure to work with one Chelsea player this season who he says is a good listener.

Chelsea don’t just have massive talents within their current squad, they also have some massive talents out on loan right now as well.

Chelsea’s midfield is currently scarily good and right now, even £100m plus player Enzo Fernandez has to make do with a bench role within Chelsea’s best Xl due to Romeo Lavia, Moises Caicedo, and Cole Palmer getting the nod as the three in there. That’s how good this midfield is.

Then you have other players such as Cesare Casadei, Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, and others who are not even getting a look in right now other than in domestic cups or in Europe.

And then in the summer, there will need to be the next difficult decision and conversations to have, because what will happen to Andrey Santos, who scored a brace for Strasbourg at the weekend?

Santos is on fire this season

After Santos’ two goals helped Strasbourg beat Nantes 3-1 at home yesterday, manager Liam Rosenior was asked about the on loan Chelsea player.

He said:

“It’s a pleasure to work with Andrey Santos. He’s a good listener and has a great character. We worked with him this week to get him to touch the ball even more. Tonight, he was rewarded. He has a good feel for shots to be in the right place in the penalty area.”

Santos will have a big decision to make when he returns to Chelsea in the summer. And Chelsea and Enzo Maresca will have a big decision to make as well. How do they squeeze Santos in along with Fernandez, Lavia, Caicedo, Palmer, Joao Felix, Dewsbury-Hall, Casadei, Christopher Nkunku, and more… !?
