Juventus were already struggling with injuries ahead of their Champions League clash with Atlético Madrid.
Defenders Giorgio Chiellini and Mattia De Sciglio had previously been ruled out with longer-term injury problems.
Douglas Costa (hamstring) and Miralem Pjanić (muscle injury) have joined them in being sidelined for the clash with the Rojiblancos, while Danilo faces a fight for fitness.
And Maurizio Sarri has been dealt yet another fitness blow, with the news that Gonzalo Higuaín is now a major doubt.
Tuttosport report that the Argentine picked up a thigh injury during the scoreless stalemate with Fiorentina on Saturday.
That now means he could miss Wednesday’s trip to the Spanish capital to face Diego Simeone’s side.
Although Higuaín did participate in Sunday’s recovery session, he will undergo a fitness test before it is determined if he will take part.
Should Sarri opt against risking the striker, Paulo Dybala is set to take his place, having failed to feature in Florence.
Federico Bernardeschi is set to stand in for Costa, while Rodrigo Bentancur will deputise for Pjanić in midfield.
