MIAMI – The 2024/25 Concacaf W Champions Cup Finals have concluded, with Gotham FC winning its first trophy. Many players delivered outstanding performances, yet these eleven stood out the most in their respective positions.

Goalkeeper

Itzel González, Tigres UANL – The recipient of the Best Goalkeeper Award, González made two penalty saves, and 13 saves overall, in the Finals to help Tigres UANL to a runners-up finish.

Defenders

Lilly Reale, Gotham FC With three tackles and three interceptions, Reale was a key piece for Gotham to reach the championship match and lift the trophy.

Emily Sonnett, Gotham FC Sonnett won a penalty in the final minutes of the Final that turned into the winning goal for Gotham FC to become the first WCC winners, on top of contributing to a clean sheet performance.

Mandy Freeman, Gotham FC - The Gotham FC captain contributed with one goal, 11 tackles, and four interceptions, helping her team to its first international trophy.

Anika Rodríguez, Tigres UANL - Rodríguez was a fundamental piece for Tigres’ run with seven tackles won, eight clearances and two interceptions in the Finals.

Midfielders

Midge Purce, Gotham FC Returning from a season-ending injury, Purce delivered the match-winning goal against América to help her team reach the Final.

Taryn Torres, Gotham FC Torres contributed control and helped dictate tempo in the midfield, as well helping defend with three duels won and two tackles won in the final.

Geyse, Gotham FC Geyse took over in the Semifinals, scoring the opening goal for Gotham to ignite the final push for the title.

Forwards

Olivia Moultrie, Portland Thorns - The winner of the Best Young Player Award showed her skills from the Group Stage to the Third Place Match, scoring the goal that sealed the bronze medal.

Esther González, Gotham FC Scoring the winning goal for Gotham FC in the Final, and helping cause an own goal in the semifinal, González was key to her club’s trophy-winning campaign.

Ana Dias, Tigres – With four goals throughout the tournament, Dias won the Top Scorer Award, making her one of the most clinical scorers in the tournament.
