Sport1 reports that Benfica’s Gonçalo Ramos and Rasmus Høljund are alternative options for Bayern Munich as they continue their search for a striker.
Ramos has been offered to Bayern by his consultant Jorge Mendes, who will earn €2.5m if he is able to move the 21-year-old to a top European club this summer. Bayern have been in constant contact with Mendes as he also represents João Cancelo, who spent the second half of the season on loan at Bayern.
Højlund only joined Atalanta last season from Sturm Graz in Austria for €17.2m signing a contract until 2027. As this is the 20-year-old’s first season in a major European league it may be too early to make him their main striker, in 33 games for Atalanta this season he has scored 10 and assisted four.
Bayern have had to look elsewhere for a striker as their previous main targets Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Randal Kolo Muani are all too expensive, while Bayern still holds an interest in Juventus’ Dušan Vlahović.
Internally the club has even considered giving Mathys Tel more game time next season as they continue with Tel and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting as their two striker options.
