Estevao Willian has admitted he will miss Palmeiras but he’s going to “live a dream” by joining Chelsea this summer.
The Blues agreed a deal with Palmeiras worth up to £51.4m for the precocious 18-year-old, who is already a Brazil international.
There is a lot of excitement surrounding the arrival of Estevao, and the Blues did well to secure the signature of one of best young talents in world football.
Chelsea have heavily targeted the South American market under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership, and have signed a number of stars from the continent.

Despite their impending arrivals, there’s not quite the same excitement as with Estevao, but Chelsea must be careful not to put to much pressure on the youngster from day one.
The teenager has broken records set by Neymar in the Brazilian League, and Chelsea are said to view Estevao as a generational talent.
Estevao scored twice for Palmeiras on Thursday night, and revealed whilst he will miss the club, he’s living a dream by joining Chelsea this summer.
“Feeling of gratitude, because at the same time that I’m leaving here, I’m going to live a dream,” he told Ge Globo as cited on X.com.
“I’m trying to enjoy this place as much as possible, because I’m going to miss it.”
Estevao has a brilliant record with Palmeiras and has scored 25 goals and registered 14 assists in 75 appearances for the club.
Whilst Estevao is a huge talent, the same can also be said of both Paez and Santos who will link up with the Chelsea this summer.

Paez and Estevao are arguably the two biggest talents in South America right now, but whilst Estevao is expected to go into the first team squad, it’s likely the Ecuador international will go on loan.
The potential of these youngsters is so high, but it’s vital Chelsea provide them with the right environment so they can thrive and fulfil that vast potential.
