Everton faced off against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier tonight as they hoped to grind out a result on the road in the Premier League. LB: Vitaliy Mykolenko – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was dominant in the air.

RM: Ashley Young – 7/10

Young was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.

CM: Amadou Onana – 6.5/10

He anchored the midfield well but offered very little in the final third.

Gueye offered decent protection for his teammates at the back and was accurate with his passing.
