That's after the midfielder revealed the insight Pukki gave to him about new Leeds boss Daniel Farke, before making his move to Elland Road.

How have things gone for Kamara at Leeds?

Following a four-and-a-half-year spell with Rangers in which he made 193 appearances in all competitions for the Scottish giants, Kamara would depart Ibrox during the summer transfer window.

That exit saw him complete a move to Leeds, who reportedly paid a fee of £5million to sign the midfielder on a four-year contract that secures his future at Elland Road until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Since then, Kamara has gone on to make nine appearances for Leeds since the start of the campaign, helping them mount an early push for an immediate promotion back to the Premier League.

That move to Yorkshire has found the 28-year-old playing under Farke, who himself was appointed by Leeds over the course of the summer.

Now it seems as though the insight of one of his former teammates, helped convince Kamara that playing for Farke, would be the right move for him.

Having played alongside Pukki at international level for Finland, Kamara does know one player who could provide him with a useful insight on Farke.

Pukki of course, played under the German at Norwich City between 2018 and 2021, where it seems he was left with a positive impression of Farke, judging by these comments from Farke.

Speaking about what Pukki had told him about Farke before he completed his move to Leeds, Kamara told The Official Leeds United Podcast: "Yeah, he messaged me as well, everyone does their due diligence at all of the clubs.

"He messaged me and had a word with me, and he only had good things to say about the manager. I was like okay, I'm excited and after I spoke to the manager, it just confirmed what he [Pukki] said."

Where are Leeds United in the Championship?

Thanks in some part to the contribution made by Kamara, Leeds have made a strong start to life back in the Championship, after relegation from the Premier League at the end of last season.

Having taken 31 points from their 16 league games so far this season, the Whites currently sit third in the Championship table, eight points adrift of the automatic promotion places.

Following the international break, Leeds are set to return to action on Friday 24th November, when they travel to the New York Stadium to take on Rotherham United.

Has Kamara been a good signing for Leeds United?

Kamara does look to have been a useful addition to the Leeds United squad so far this season.

The midfielder has been a useful presence in the centre of the park for Farke's side, already chipping in with a couple of assists.

You also feel his experience of playing amid the pressure of some top level games, having won titles and competed in cup finals during his time with Rangers, could be invaluable for Leeds as they look to secure promotion back to the Premier League come the end of the season.
