Glen Johnson is 34 years old but is still very fit and seemingly has plenty of football left in him despite officially announcing his retirement in January, last having played for Stoke City.
The 54-time England international starred at West Ham, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Portsmouth, playing a total of 458 matches in his club career.
Celtic need a right-back next season and when Johnson was asked by Jim White on talkSPORT if he would play for Celtic next season, Johnson gave a very blunt response.
“Yeah,” he said. “I’d get my boots on, no drama.”
Celtic right-backs Mikael Lustig, Cristian Gamboa, and Jeremy Toljan are all expected to leave this summer.
