Glazers ready to bankroll Harry Kane transfer to placate Manchester United fans

According to The Independent, the Glazers are ready to go big and land Harry Kane to placate irate Manchester United fans.

The Red Devils faithful have in recent weeks come out in open opposition of the Americans’ ownership of the club. Fans once again came out in force yesterday ahead of our clash against Liverpool.

The protests continue despite the Glazers promising to do better. It is clear to say that the fans would rather see them act than talk.

It would appear that they aim to make just such a statement once the summer transfer window opens. The report goes on to say that a marquee signing is being planned as a show of intent.

One of the players in the fray is English skipper Harry Kane. The Tottenham Hotspur ace is one of the most prolific strikers in English football. He would be an excellent addition to a United side that lacks an infallible scorer.

Kane has taken his game up a notch this season and has also shown off his creative side. With 31 goals and 16 assists in just 46 matches, he is today a well-rounded superstar.

The 27-year-old will not come cheap. Daniel Levy is a difficult man to negotiate with and United may need to fork out around £150million to land Kane.

Having lost the Carabao Cup final, Kane is set to go yet another season sans silverware. Whether this will force his hand to seek his fortunes elsewhere remains to be seen.
