Girona eye double Barcelona deal | OneFootball

After it was reported in the last couple of days that Girona were looking to sign Eric Garcia, a second Barcelona player has now appear on their radar.

On Friday, Barcelona made their long-awaited return to La Liga’s 1:1 rule, and on the back of this, they could sanction the sale of Eric Garcia in order to make it possible for a signing or two to arrive during the winter transfer window. As it turns out, Girona could make it a double deal as Relevo say that they are interested in Ansu Fati.

At the start of the season, Fati was given the chance to resurrect his Barcelona career, but injuries have once again meant that he has suffered to be available for the most part. As such, club bosses are prepared to cut ties as soon as possible, especially given that he has a very high salary.

It is likely that Girona would aim to sign Fati on loan, with a view to a permanent deal taking place in the summer. Barcelona would probably accept this, provided that a significant portion of his wages were covered.
