Girona and Real Sociedad competing with Real Betis to sign Borussia Dortmund forward | OneFootball

Youssoufa Moukoko is expected to leave Borussia Dortmund, with his agent having gone public about his intention to look for a new club with better playing opportunities. Real Betis are one of the teams to have made their move to sign the 19-year-old attacker, who had been linked with Barcelona in 2023.

Betis have already presented a proposal to Moukoko’s representatives, as per ED. They recognise that he could earn a more lucrative elsewhere, but their belief is that he would be tempted by the playing time opportunity across multiple competitions – La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Europa Conference League.

As it turns out, Betis aren’t the only La Liga side interested in a move for Moukoko. The report states that Girona and Real Sociedad are also keen, and the advantage that both clubs have other Los Verdiblancos is that they play in better European competitions – Girona in the Champions League, and La Real in the Europa League.

It remains to be seen whether Moukoko makes the move to Spain. He’d be a welcome addition to La Liga, although he is also wanted by clubs in England, France and Germany.
