The Leeds United Foundation's Development Centre programme is now available for Block 4 Booking, with early bird offers available for supporters.

Aimed at young girls in the region, qualified coaches from the club’s official charity will deliver one training session taking place each week.

Sessions will be based on individualised coaching, providing the opportunity for youngsters to improve their skills, technique and confidence.

The training specific sessions will allow for each player to continue to play for a local grassroots team whilst training among the Leeds United Foundation Development Centres. For those that wish to continue playing football, there will also be the opportunity to progress into the Girls Shadow Squad.

New to the programme this year, we will be introducing a games opportunity which will allow each development centre to take part in.

These matches will be played against other development centres and take place during training. This is not a grassroots games programme and will not take players away from their important grassroots environments.

The programme will run for six weeks, starting from the week commencing 19th February until the week commencing 25th March. Prices start at £42 per person for the six-week programme.

The times and locations of weekly sessions can be found below;

Monday:

  1. Garforth Academy - 5.30pm to 6.30pm

Tuesday:

  • Snaith School - 5pm to 6pm
  • Benton Park - 5pm to 6pm

Wednesday:

  • Grammar School at Leeds - 6pm to 7pm
  • Goalkeeping School of Excellence - 7.15pm to 8.15pm (also runs from the Grammar School at Leeds)
  • Calderdale College - 6pm to 7pm

Friday:

  1. King James High School - 6pm to 7pm
  2. St Wilfrid’s High School - 7pm to 8pm
