According to De Telegraaf, Van Bronckhorst will work closely with City to ‘develop his coaching methods’ and ‘share his vision’ with the club.

He is also expected to spend time with New York City FC and Melbourne City FC as part of his wider integration.

Pep Guardiola is said to view Van Bronckhorst as the ideal candidate for this role due to their shared footballing philosophy, based around quick passing and technical quality.

It remains unclear whether this collaboration will be made official or not.
