Borussia Dortmund winger Giovanni Reyna will fly to England today in order to complete his move to Nottingham Forest, according to Florian Plettenberg.
The American international will join the Premier League side on a six-month loan with the option to buy of around €15m-€20m.
Reyna is set to be offered considerably more game time in England’s top flight. With the return of Jadon Sancho, Reyna has dropped further down the pecking order at the Westfalenstadion, leaving him to become frustrated by his lack of opportunities.
After appearing to be yet another one of Dortmund’s phenomenal future stars, injuries have plagued the American’s development in recent years. A move away from BVB could see Reyna open a new chapter in his career as he looks to reach the heights he once seemed destined for.
Nottingham currently sit 16th in the Premier League, two points off the relegation places.
