AC Milan retain an interest in signing Seko Fofana from RC Lens as they look to add a midfielder before the end of the window, a report claims.
According to what Il Giornale (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Fofana is still be in the crosshairs of the Rossoneri management to bolster the midfield given that a direct replacement for Franck Kessie has not yet arrived.
The Frenchman is a player that Milan have followed for some time having been linked in previous transfer windows, and Paolo Maldini is considering a move to try and bring him back to Italy.
One of the advantages of a move for Fofana – in addition to him being reliable from a physical point of view and having imposing physical characteristics – is that the player already knows the Italian league well, having played for Udinese.
However, there have also been reports of competition from the Premier League plus an asking price of €47m being touted as per a recent TEAMtalk report.
