Juventus captain Giorgio Chiellini has signed a contract extension with the Serie A giants until 2023.
The new two-year deal was officially announced on Monday via the club’s social media accounts.
After Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph, staying with Juventus was reportedly a key part of Chiellini’s plan to make the squad for the 2022 World Cup.
The 36-year-old defender will also be vital for Massimiliano Allegri’s team in their hunt to win Serie A and the UEFA Champions League.
