Former Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini reflected on some of his ex-teammates from the national team taking over managerial jobs.
In an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport, the decorated centreback spoke about the likes of De Rossi and Thiago Motta making progress in their lives as head coaches in Serie A.
“I’m really happy for Daniele and Thiago, they’re great friends, both of them,” said Chiellini.
“Now I can only hope that Fabio [Cannavaro] can save himself with Udinese and stay up in Serie A,” he added. “The affection for them goes beyond everything.”
