Gigi Buffon admits Neymar and Mbappé were part of why he joined PSG | OneFootball

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has heaped praise on striking duo Kylian Mbappé and Neymar.

The veteran goalkeeper joined the French giants from Juventus last summer and has been astonished by the quality the pair possess – admitting that they were part of the reason he signed for the club in the first place.

“They are part of the reasons I came to PSG,” he told France Football.

“We all know Kylian. We all know that he has the world in his hands.  If Kylian says to himself ‘I want to win five Ballon d’Ors in the next 10 years’ he will do it.

And Neymar was next to earn the shot-stopper’s praise.

“Neymar has the technique, the talent – he’s has the sort of class I’ve probably never seen before.

“He is incredible.”

PSG face Stade Pontivy in the Coupe de France this weekend with their first Ligue 1 game against Amiens on January 12.
