As quoted by , in speaking after being awarded the UNFP’s Goalkeeper of the Season award for Ligue 1, PSG stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma confirmed he will not be leaving Paris this summer. Asked about his future, the Italian said:
“I haven’t spoken with anyone yet, I’m just happy to be here. The club has to make a decision. There’s no problem, I’m happy to be here and I will definitely be here again next season.”

Donnarumma also expressed his surprise at winning the award, saying:
“I didn’t expect it, because I played very few matches. But I gave my best in every game. To be elected, having only played half the matches, means that I’ve played well. I thank my colleagues who voted for me.”
