Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi is apparently planning a trip to the South American continent with a specific transfer target in mind.
According to today’s edition of Il Messaggero, Gian Piero Gasperini has asked Ghisolfi for 4/5 reinforcements before the end of the summer.

In particular, discussions between Ghisolfi and Roma’s newly appointed manager revolved around South American talents – low-cost options with vast potential.
Thus, the newspaper claims that Ghisolfi and his staff will fly to South America next week where he is expected to hold talks for Palmeiras fullback Augustin Giay.
The Argentine’s value is currently estimated at around 15 million euros.
