Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi commented on Roma’s search for a new manager in his pre-match interview with Sky Sport.
The executive was asked about Ranieri’s decision to keep Hummels out of the line-up in this evening’s match against Parma.
“It’s the coach’s choice. He’s dropped in form since the match against Milan, and now he’s working hard and I think he’ll play on Thursday,” he said.
On Gourna-Douath and Salah-Eddine starting, he said, “They are two young players, with physicality and technical quality. Salah-Eddine is faster, Gourna-Douath is an important player.”
“They are two intelligent players, the pitch will speak for itself and I am happy to see them today,” he added.
“The new manager? We’re working on it. It’s February, we have time to make the choice and we want to use the time well. It’s not the time to talk about it before the games, we’ll see what happens.”
