Appearing first and exclusively in this season’s official matchday programme, we get to know our Women Under-21s players.

Taking on the Q&A this time is Mia Endacott, who joined the Club's academy set-up in the summer after making 15 senior appearances for Plymouth Argyle last campaign, winning their Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season, while the young forward has also represented England at Under-17 level.

First started training with Spurs?

“I joined the Club in the summer from Plymouth Argyle, where I featured in their first team around 15 times last season.”

How many caps for the national team?

“I made my debut for England at Under-14s level and I have been part of the set-up since then. I have featured for the Under-17s over the last year as well.”

Favourite food?

“I would have to go with a jacket potato, with some cheese and baked beans.”

Any pets?

“I have got a dog called Coco. We had her for nearly a year now.”

Favourite memory as a football fan?

“It would probably have to be when the Lionesses won the 2022 Euros, I was at home watching that game but managed to go to Southampton’s stadium to watch them win 5-0 over Northern Ireland.”

Any hidden talents?

“I can do British Sign Language. I learned that as my little brother is profoundly deaf.”

Who do you like to watch in the first team and why?

“Jess Naz because she scores plenty of goals and is quick, so I try to mimic the stuff she does in games and learn from her to put into my game.”

Who was your footballing idol when growing up?

“Cristiano Ronaldo as, I think, everyone was sort of looking up to him and he was just such a big player when I was younger.”

If you couldn’t be a footballer, what would you like to be instead?

“It would probably be something to do with medicine, in the medical industry.”

How would you sum up your character?

“I would say I’m a little bubbly, I can be quite funny sometimes and also a bit lively.”

How would you describe your playing style?

“I’m not a player that likes to hold on to the ball, if I see a pass I will make it, and I’m quick so I enjoy running at defenders and trying to beat them.”
