The powers that be at Getafe have identified a member of the attacking ranks at La Liga rivals Valencia as a leading summer transfer target.
That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Diario AS, who highlight Declan Frith as the player in question.
Frith, for his part, spent this past season plying his trade with Valencia Mestalla, the club’s reserve outfit.
As much comes after the 22-year-old opted to take his talents to Spain last summer, following the expiration of his contract with Aston Villa.
Frith’s Los Che terms, though, are currently due to come to a close at the end of the month.
And eager to take advantage of as much by bringing the Englishman on board, as alluded to above, are another of La Liga’s clubs, in Getafe.
As per AS, the brass at the Estadio Coliseum consider Frith to be a potential replacement for Mason Greenwood in the club’s attacking setup.
They have, in turn, gone as far as to send a three-year contract offer the way of the winger, in the hopes of snapping him up free of charge this summer.
