Nicolas Kühn looks very likely to be Celtic’s first signing of the January window barring any last minute hitches.

The winger is highly rated, and hopefully he’s of the required quality that Brendan is looking for, and fingers crossed he’s the first of a few new players of the same ilk. Once that ink is dry on his contact it’s imperative that we seek to bring in at least another two new faces.

We are in particular need of a left back and striker. Alexandro Bernabei is clearly not rated by Brendan Rodgers and looks very likely to be leaving on a loan deal. That leaves Greg Taylor as our only option at left back, and we need someone not just to give him competition, but possibly a first team starter.

Up top of course we are rather light, with Oh away to the Asian Cup, leaving us just Kyogo as our only option. You could say the striker position is the most important one we need to rectify. That was the case even before Oh’s temporary absence.

Both Kyogo and Oh are doing a decent job, but we need someone who’s more of a poacher In front of goal. Yes, a clinical finisher along with a left back would further improve our squad, it’s what we need. Please get it sorted Celtic.
