Lena Oberdorf has completed a move to Bayern Munich, in a switch that will rock German football.
The midfielder, 22, has become one of the stars of the German national team and the Frauen-Bundesliga in recent years.
Bayern have confirmed an agreement to sign the midfielder from domestic rivals Wolfsburg, using a reported €400k release clause to make Oberdorf the fourth most expensive signing in the history of the women's game.
According to reports this week, Oberdorf also attracted interest from Chelsea before opting to remain in Germany.
The midfielder has signed a contract with Bayern until 2028.
