The German Football Association (DFB) have confirmed that Jonathan Tah will be in the national team squad for this summer's home European Championships.

The DFB have opted for something slightly unusual with their squad announcement this year, naming a different player every day via various outlets.

On Sunday it was confirmed that Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck was the first name in Julian Nageslmann's squad.

And now Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah has become the second name on the list, with the confirmation coming via social media.

The full list of 26 players will be announced on Thursday before Germany's friendlies with Ukraine and Greece on June 3 and 7.
