Their finances are not what they once used to be, and this is something that Xavi Hernandez even explicitly mentioned. Moving forward, Barcelona hope to give whatever they can give to Hansi Flick to help him create a strong squad, but there will still be a dampening limit.

Now, according to SPORT, a player who wants to prove himself to the German coach is Noah Darvich. The 17-year-old midfielder, formerly from Freiburg, is a player who knows that he has a chance as good as any to make sure that he has a shot with the Barcelona first team.

Moreover, even Hansi Flick keeps an eager eye on the young German midfielder as well. He knows that the player is something special, and his actions helped Germany win the Under-17 FIFA World Cup as captain for a good reason.

Furthermore, with Barcelona needing to count on the subsidiary’s players for the pre-season at first, bringing Darvich on board is hardly a loss for anyone.

Even Flick’s assistant, Heiko Westermann, is someone who worked closely with the German youth teams over the last few years. He knows Darvich extremely well and would be a great asset to help the new Barcelona coach better understand how to best make use of his qualities.

Despite a rather conflicted start to life in Catalonia after first arriving last summer, the Barcelona Atletic midfielder has gradually grown and developed. Now much more settled both in Spanish and with the Barcelona style of play, Darvich aims to find his own place in this new first-team revolution that Flick brings alongside him.
