Gerard Pique shares conversation boasting his incredible trophy collection | OneFootball

For years now, Barcelona have familiarised Gerard Pique with the face of courage and straightforwardness. If there is a difficult situation at the club, or a tricky press conference, or even a potential transfer of the player (Se Queda, anyone?), Pique has always been upfront about his opinions. He dreams of becoming the president of the club and has already gained a reputation regarding the same.

After Barcelona’s stunning victory over Athletic Bilbao in the Copa del Rey final, Gerard Pique was the first to grab the champagne and kick-start the celebrations. He continued the celebrations on the team bus, and even when they reached the team hotel, spraying journalists with champagne.

Amidst all this, he shared a conversation on WhatsApp with Twitch streamer Ibai Llanos.

Ibai, who is known to be a supporter of Athletic Bilbao, starts off the conversation saying, “Congrats, handsome. Don’t pull a trumpet during celebration, you motherfuckers,” in reference to Asier Villalibre celebrating the Super Cup win with a trumpet.

Pique responded by saying, “I’ll pull whatever the fuck I want.” Ibai tries to be smug by asking him, “Be honest, how many cups (drinks) do you have in you.”

Smugness does not work on Pique, though, who flipped the question on its head, and responded by sending him a picture of players with most trophies in world football, with the final reply saying, “35”.

Ibai shared the conversation on Twitter as well, with the caption, “Good evening. I am going to fuck off.”
