Georgia Stanway has announced that she has left Manchester City and confirmed a move to Bayern Munich.
Stanway departs the club after a fruitful seven years. Since joining in 2015, she has helped the Cityzens become WSL champions once, as well as lifting three FA Cups and three League Cups.
On a personal level she also became the club's all-time top goalscorer in January, replacing Nikita Parris.
Stanway has sealed a three-year contract with Bayern, before which she penned an emotional goodbye to City fans.
"I joined Manchester City with a dream of becoming a professional footballer. I have been grateful to call it my home for the past 7 years," she wrote.
"Today, I leave as the club's leading top scorer, with over 150 appearances and 7 domestic trophies. A huge thank you to all the staff and team-mates that have supported me on my journey.
"And to the fans who have given me unconditional support throughout. I have made memories and friends for a lifetime.
"I'll be back as a fan if not a player!"
Stanway's last game as a City player was Sunday's FA Cup final where her side were defeated by Chelsea after extra time.
