Former Juventus and Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic was linked with a move to Genoa, but has instead signed for CSKA Moscow – arriving on horseback.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina international was a free agent following the experience with Sharjah FC in the UAE Pro League.
He had been linked with a return to Serie A for Genoa, who are seeking a replacement for Ruslan Malinovskyi after the Ukraine international fractured his ankle and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
However, today the midfielder officially put pen to paper with CSKA Moscow and was presented in spectacular fashion, arriving at the stadium on horseback.

The player only turned 34 in April and had a long and varied career, playing for FC Metz, Olympique Lyonnais, Roma, Juventus, Barcelona, Besiktas and Sharjah FC.
Pjanic amassed 281 Serie A appearances, in which he scored 42 goals and provided 73 assists.
He won four Serie A titles at Juve, along with two editions of the Coppa Italia and a Supercoppa Italiana.
