Genoa have parted company with coach Andriy Shevchenko just two months after he took charge of the Serie A strugglers.
The Ukrainian was only appointed by Il Grifone on 7 November but he leaves the club having won just one of his 11 matches in charge, leaving them 19th in the table.
His last game at the helm was Thursday’s 3-1 Coppa Italia defeat against his former club AC Milan.
Genoa scored just five goals under Shevchenko and are now two places lower in the table than they were when he was appointed and tasked with saving them from relegation.
Former Genoa boss Rolando Maran, Bruno Labbadia and Rudi Garcia are three of the names reportedly in the frame to succeed Shevchenko.
