Genoa president Enrico Preziosi has come up with a plan which will allow them to avoid losing highly rated Nicolo Rovella for nothing according to a report from Italian news outlet CalcioMercato.com.

The Italian youth national team central midfielder’s contract with the Rossoblu club is up at the end of the season and he is widely reported to be on the radars of both Inter and reigning Italian champions Juventus.

As per this report, Preziosi plans to sell Rovella in the upcoming January transfer window and keep him on loan at the club.

Both Inter and Juventus have good relations with Genoa and the report goes on to add that Inter chief executive Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta plus Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio have been keeping tabs on Rovella for some time and are working on setting up a deal to sign him in the future.

This season 18-year-old Rovella has made two appearances across all competitions to date but in his 163 minutes on the field he has failed to make any goal contributions.
