Inter could lose out on goalkeeping target Luigi Sepe, with the Parma keeper now set to join Serie A rivals Genoa.
This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports on his site that the Nerazzurri’s inability to sell Andrei Radu could cost them in their pursuit of Sepe.
The goalkeeping situation is thought to be a major area on the Nerazzurri’s agenda for the summer transfer market, with the club hoping to bring in a keeper who can take over the deputy role from Radu while also being capable of acting as a long-term successor to Samir Handanovic, with the Slovenian turning 37 this month.
Sepe had been identified as a major target for next season, with the Nerazzurri reportedly having discussed a loan move with Parma.
However, any move for Sepe would have been contingent on the departure of Radu, and with the Romanian’s proposed move to Spanish club Real Sociedad having fallen through, it appears that Genoa will beat them in the race for Sepe’s situation unless they can quickly find a buyer for Radu.
